Dr. Sharaz Khan is Founder and Chairman of the Legacy Lift Initiative. A graduate of The University of the
West Indies, he holds Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and serves on the Junior
International Committee of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Having grown up in a humble household
and served as Deputy Head Boy, National Scholar, and Principal's Award recipient at ASJA Boys' College, he
is passionate about creating opportunities that empower students through education, mentorship, and
leadership.
Israel Khan
Deputy Chairman
Israel Khan is the founder of ASJA FC, strengthening lifelong connections among alumni of ASJA Boys'
College. He holds a BSc in Management Studies and Economics and serves as a Treasury Analyst, specialising
in liquidity management, cash flow optimisation, capital forecasting, and investment oversight. Passionate
about sustainable development and strategic leadership, Israel brings strong financial stewardship to the
Legacy Lift Initiative, helping build a solid foundation that expands educational opportunities and supports
future generations.
Brandon Ramdass
Treasurer & Director of Finance
Brandon Ramdass is a National Scholarship recipient and holds a BSc in Chemical and Process Engineering. He
serves as a Laboratory Supervisor in the petroleum sector, overseeing laboratory operations, quality
assurance, regulatory compliance, and technical testing. His academic and professional journey reflects a
commitment to excellence, discipline, and continuous improvement. Through the Legacy Lift Initiative,
Brandon is dedicated to expanding educational opportunities, reducing barriers to success, and empowering
students to achieve their full potential.
Jesse Ramdeo
Director of Public Engagement & Communications
Jesse Ramdeo holds a BA in Communication Studies and is completing an MBA in Marketing Management. A senior
news reporter and producer at CNC3, he also contributes to the Trinidad and Tobago Guardian, covering
issues of national importance. A former Under-16 football representative for ASJA Boys' College, his early
experiences fostered teamwork and communication. Through the Legacy Lift Initiative, Jesse uses the power of
media, storytelling, and mentorship to inspire students and empower future generations.
Visheash Lyman
Director of Strategy & Development
Visheash Lyman holds a BSc in Chemical and Process Engineering and works as a Senior Process Engineer in the
Consumer Packaged Goods industry. He has extensive experience delivering capital projects, overseeing
process equipment installation and commissioning while maintaining high engineering and safety standards.
Through the Legacy Lift Initiative, Visheash is dedicated to investing in the next generation by expanding
educational opportunities, promoting leadership, and inspiring students to pursue excellence through
mentorship and community engagement.
Kareem S. Mohammed
Director of Events & Engagement
Kareem S. Mohammed is a proud alumnus of ASJA Boys' College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication
Studies, with minors in Human Resource Management and International Relations. He currently works at Liberty
Caribbean within the telecommunications industry. Passionate about youth development and community
engagement, Kareem is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for future generations through
leadership, collaboration, and service. He supports the Legacy Lift Initiative's mission to empower students
and strengthen communities.
Dr. Nikolai Lewis
Director of Governance & Compliance
Dr. Nikolai Lewis is a General Practitioner and Medical Educator with a passion for mentoring future
healthcare professionals. He graduated from The University of the West Indies, earned a Postgraduate
Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Bristol, and is a Member of the Royal College of
General Practitioners. Through the Legacy Lift Initiative, Dr. Lewis is dedicated to empowering young people
through education, mentorship, and leadership, helping students realise their potential and achieve lasting
success.
Kaleem Hosein
Director of Programme Coordination
Kaleem Hosein holds a BSc in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment and has extensive experience across
the Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, and Environmental sectors. Certified in Process Safety Management, Emergency
Medical Response, Firefighting, and HSE Management System Auditing, he currently serves as a Group HSE
Coordinator, leading the development of robust HSSE systems. Through the Legacy Lift Initiative, Kaleem is
committed to expanding opportunities for students through education, mentorship, and community service.
Riaz Jahoor
Director of Stakeholder Engagement
Riaz Jahoor is a National Scholarship recipient and former cricket representative for ASJA Boys' College and
the South Zone, where he demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and academic excellence. He holds a BSc in
Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Project Management. As a Project Manager and Engineer in the Caribbean
oil and gas industry, he leads the design, construction, and maintenance of critical energy infrastructure.
